Advantages and Application of Four Low Flat Trailers

Ordinary low flat trailer has flat type, that is, the platform for carrying goods is flat. The trailer has no ladder, as shown in the figure below. Trailers are used to transport ordinary heavy objects. It cannot transport goods with high height like other semi trailers. The standard 3-axle low flat trailer can transport up to 40 tons. However, the load capacity can be increased by increasing the number of axles. The load capacity also depends on the type of axle. Concave flatbed trailer

This type of trailer is also known as a ground climbing trailer. The main feature of the trailer is that it has a low loading platform. The position of the loading platform is even lower than the height of the tire. The structure of cargo platform is called concave beam or lintel structure.

The main advantage of concave beam flat trailer is its high stability. Concave beam structure reduces the height of the center of gravity of goods, thus improving the stability during transportation.

Application:

Trailers are usually used to carry heavy goods such as heavy equipment, gas cylinders, wind power towers and chemical tanks. Suitable for logistics transportation companies.

Detachable flatbed trailer

The detachable gooseneck trailer refers to a heavy low platform semi-trailer, which can mechanically or automatically disassemble the gooseneck and carrying platform of the trailer. The main use of this trailer includes that the transported goods can climb onto the carrier platform of the trailer from the front end of the trailer.

Application:

The detachable gooseneck semi-trailer is used to transport heavy equipment and machinery. When using an ordinary low level crane, load the heavy objects from the rear mechanical ladder. However, when a detachable gooseneck semi-trailer is used, the cargo is loaded from the front.

Since the gooseneck is removable, heavy objects can be loaded from the front. The movable gooseneck trailer provides convenience for loading goods from the front.

Hydraulic cargo gooseneck low platform trailer

The gooseneck of the detachable gooseneck trailer is generally equipped with four hydraulic devices, one for lifting the gooseneck, and the other for moving the gooseneck forward and backward for easy disassembly. Of course, some models are movable gooseneck semi trailers loaded by hydraulic ladder, which have both front-end and back-end loading.

Application:

Hydraulic gooseneck trailer is widely used and is a common type of low flat semi-trailer. The hydraulic cylinder for the trailer unloads the gooseneck. When loading, the hydraulic unit lowers and raises the trailer as required.

One advantage is that it is safer to load heavy objects from the front than from the rear or side. It is not safe to load from the rear, especially when handling heavy equipment. Back ladder structure. Therefore, a long ladder is required to load heavy equipment. Heavy objects may fall from the ladder or from behind onto the cargo platform. Such a fall may even damage the equipment or goods before transportation.
